The only women’s barbershop chorus in the Copper Country, Noteworthy is recognized for its intricate, a cappella harmonies and fun, accessible melodies. Noteworthy Women’s Chorus always takes a free-will offering for local charities during its concerts. They always welcome new members and invites all women who enjoy singing to come to the concert for an introduction to barbershop music.

Founded by Shana Porteen (Black Ice Comics) and Actress/Voice Actress Patricia Summersett, GeekU.P. celebrates art and geek culture (local and abroad) through comics, cosplay, video games, and more. This is an annual interactive geek festival bridging fandom with discovery all while raising money for charity. Each year, GeekU.P. selects a different group to fundraise during the festival.
